About Jean-Francois Borny

Born in Monaco, author Jean-Francois Borny grew up with a non-practicing Catholic mother and an atheist father, giving him the choice to explore spirituality on his own terms. Joining a boys’ choir at 11 led him across Europe, yet spiritual depth eluded him despite attending Catholic schools in France and the US. Knowledge of the Bible was ample, but it lacked personal relevance until, at age 26, guided by friends and supported by his wife, he embraced a heartfelt faith in Jesus Christ. This transformation prompted significant changes in his lifestyle and perspective.

Over time, he discovered the profound impact of daily devotionals and quiet time with God's Word, which reshaped his life one verse, one decision at a time. Now in his 60s, Jean-Francois shares this journey, particularly with men who often struggle with commitment to spiritual growth. His mission is to emphasize personal engagement with faith, rejecting the misconception that spiritual depth is solely for clergy. Let us not be unused swords but actively sharpen our spiritual lives daily to become a man of valor... one day at a time.
